1. Eat Breakfast! (Everyday If You Can) It may not be your favorite meal, but eating a full breakfast can really jumpstart your day. So ditch that bowl of Coco Puffs and try some real food. Eggs and turkey bacon, anyone?

2. One Hour Is All It Takes (Do Whatever You Want With The Other 23…) Can you get too much exercise? Probably, but you can also get too little. Aim for about 60 minutes a day (it doesn't have to be all at once--break it up into two 30 minute blocks if you wish).

You can even do some aerobics while you watch Oprah and The Hills, uh, we mean the news.

3. Eat Your Fruit, Don't Drink It Put the straw down and pick up a piece of actual fruit. Even though you might miss your favorite smoothie-barista, you'll get a lot more nutrition and a lot less calories eating your fruit instead of drinking it. And no one's saying you can't "visit" whenever you get the urge.

4. Go Low (Low-Fat, That Is) Use low-fat substitutes, like light sour cream, for full-fat foods. They're so good you can probably trick your boyfriend/girlfriend into eating it without them knowing the difference. Sounds like it's time to experiment…

5. Write Down the Good Things Don't forget all the good things you've done just because you're having a bad day. Start a "My Good" list and write down at least one success. Even if it's just remembering to shave your legs.

6. Get Up On Time (Everyday!) So maybe you can't make it to watch the sunrise every morning, but you can get up on time every morning. Even if you have to train your dog to lick you until you get out of bed.

7. Eat, Write, Repeat Keep a food journal. If you already have a journal, just record what you eat between bitching about school and talking about how cute your latest crush is. After all, what you eat is part of your day too.

8. Before You Watch That Hilarious Video Online... Workout for 30 minutes! If you're anything like the typical TV-computer zombie, you're probably not getting a lot of exercise once you start doing your thing. So here's what you do: Before you settle down for a round of hilarious YouTube clips, workout for 30 minutes. It's a win-win.

9. Water Water Everywhere Instead of soda grab a tall glass of ice water. If you can't live without the bubbles try some fancy mineral water. You can even get it in strawberry!

10. Seconds? No Thank You Okay, sometimes dinner's so good you can't resist a second helping. So try tricking yourself into eating only one plate. Maybe pretend you're at a restaurant where you can't get two helpings unless you pay extra. Yeah, cheap trumps food for us too.
