Dear Parents,

I need a favor from you.  fitsmi.com, our sister website that is helping over 1000 young women struggling with their weight, has been nominated for an award through the Childhood Obesity Challenge.  Please help us by casting your vote.  These 5 simple steps will get us closer to a cash prize and recognition for our work in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine. All it takes a couple of minutes but you can help us have an impact on the lives of so many.

1. Go to the Childhood Obesity website (http://ajpmchallenge.calit2.net/)
2. On the upper right right side of the screen you will see “login/sign up” click ‘sign up’
You will have to create an account (this is so votes are only from those who are passionate about their causes)
3. Once registered, you will receive an email, click the link to validate your account
4. Login to the site and then go to “Submission Gallery” at http://ajpmchallenge.calit2.net/submissions/entry/id/31
5. On the right side under “public voting” you will see a red bar that says “cast your vote” click it and vote!

Thank you for taking the time to support fitsmi and our mission: helping girls to develop healthy habits.  We’ll let everyone know if we win!

Yours in teen health,

Linda Frankenbach
